Customer Service Awards
In July 2001, the Port Douglas Daintree Tourism
initiated and developed the “Douglas Shire Excellence in Customer
Service” Awards, which are judged monthly (individual category) and
quarterly (business category). The awards recognise customer service
skills that exceed expectations, maintaining high standards of
service in the tourism & hospitality industry in Tropical North
Queensland.
