Port Douglas is just 70km north of Cairns as the gateway with terminus for coach and rail services and the location of the busy Cairns international and domestic airports.

Travel from Cairns to Port Douglas can be serviced by road, sea or air along one of Australia’s most spectacular coastlines. The scenic Captain Cook Highway winds along the Coral Sea coast through the Wet Tropics World Heritage area and past unspoiled tropical beaches, an unsurpassed one hour journey.
