Lady Douglas is a classic river boat which operates from Marina Mirage in the heart of Port Douglas. She cruises into the fascinating unspoilt mangrove wetlands of Dickson Inlet which is an Estuarine Conservation Zone and listed as an Area of State Significance.

Crocodiles are seen on virtually all trips especially in the dry season. It is also normal to see birds such as kingfishers, herons, sea eagles, ospreys and kites.

The boat is comfortable, stable, has a licensed bar and toilets and wheelchair/buggy access.

Each cruise explores the mangroves in search of crocodiles but also passes along Port Douglas's harbour and waterfront to showcase the beautiful coastal views. The skipper gives an entertaining and informative commentary covering mangroves, crocodiles and the local history.

Three cruise run daily: Lunch 11.30-1.30, Afternoon tea 2.15-3.45 and Sunset 4.30-6.00.

Lady Douglas is very convenient as she is within walking distance of most accommodation in Port Douglas and she has a great reputation for excellent value and reliable crocodile sightings as she has been operating here for 20 years and we have good knowledge of the crocodile territories.
